The Hilton Garden Inn is approximately one-half mile from the Memorial Union, where the Summer Institute will be held. The Institute will provide a free shuttle bus between the Hilton and the Memorial Union. The Hilton Garden Inn is within a mile of several campus restaurants. The hotel is approximately two miles from downtown Corvallis.
Institute participants should expect to make their own arrangements for getting to Corvallis. The closest airports are in Portland and Eugene. Those flying into these airports will need to arrange their own ground transportation.
The Hut Airport Shuttle provides transportation to and from the Portland airport and the Hilton Garden Inn in Corvallis.
The OmniShuttle provides transportation to and from the Eugene airport. The cost varies depending on the number of persons traveling to Corvallis. In order to guarantee a seat on either shuttle, be sure to register for it in advance.
Participants interested in exploring Corvallis and the Willamette Valley may want to consider renting a car at the Portland or Eugene airport.
